Amazon is notoriously abusive to their white collar workers as well.
Does it make sense to commute round trip 3-4 hours only to jump on a Chime call with your team across the country?
I work 10 - 14 hour days as it is. Add in the dismal commute and I'd call that abuse.
Why is it people assume abuse is only physical?
It was a 'walkout' at lunch.... 'at lunch'. Let that sink in...
Wow, you guys sure showed 'em! Way to stick it to the man!

These employees should just disagree and commit to RTO.
I fully support this job action, and people standing up for themselves in general. RTO policies do, indeed, suck and there's no good reason for them, only bad ones.
However, I am a little ambivalent about white collar workers complaining about their conditions at a company that's so notoriously abusive of their warehouse and delivery staff.
And not just in Seattle.
