It’s looking more and more like the VCM role as we know it is being eliminated in a week or so.
Can anybody reliably confirm or deny this?

Hourly management at Walmart has always meant that you take on all the responsibility and blame while having none of the authority to carry out the job.

Various sources from various regions have indicated some sort of H&W team lead role to replace VCM. In charge of D40 and D49, without bonus.
Why do you think this? They’re rolling out the VCDC position that’s supposed to train and develop VCMs.
Although it wouldn’t surprise me if they lowered it to a team lead role, it’s not really equivalent to a manager or coach anymore.
