I know of three rounds of ISG layoffs this half. A bug announced one in Feb and small unannounced ones every month since. At this point if you’re in ISG you should run. It’s not about being better. ISG is the margin engine to fund Dell’s transformation into other spaces

They aren't doing a mass layoff or even mid layoff during Dell Tech World. That would just be d-mb from a marketing and optics standpoint. Whoever spread that nonsense was chasing internet clout.

These happen behind the closed doors and announcement is made after it's done so stop spreading BS . It may or may not happen - there is no evidence to either but there is no emails like that ever until after it happened.
To prop the stock price up after delivering the results, investors love to hear about layoffs
Why? The books already closed for the last quarter. June 1 is just the release date for those books. Whatever happens now will reflect on next Quarter.
I know of several people let go so far. I am sure many more in the pipeline. Then another big chop in Sept/Oct if our market position doesn’t improve.

I know of 4 people who got laid off last week so it’s definitely happening. Maybe it’s coming in waves.
I have heard nothing about any kind of layoffs anywhere but this forum. That doesn’t mean they aren’t happening but I am hoping it’s a good sign that maybe this next round won’t be as bad as we thought?? Fingers crossed.

Confirmed sadly, the first announcements will happen tommorow. Likely US and India to be hardest hit. Got this information from my higher up contact.
