The real tip off is when stacks of moving boxes appear. At that point layoffs are imminent. You’re given a box for your personal stuff and then showed the door.
I remember long time ago, they had sent security guard to escort you out of the office.
In the past, the tipoff that you were being let go was a 15 minute meeting added to your calendar late in the day, the day before the layoff, typically with your manager and HR.
Had affected employees been notified already or it's going to be a surprise on Wed.?

which location were the cuts announced?
Thanks for update from flash side. On HDD side, I haven't heard anything from manager. Not sure other teams though.
The layoff is officially at May 24, but some of the managers that were cut out already got a notice.

Which location? I saw a lot of meetings cancelled, not sure if that has anything to do with the layoffs.
