Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

New job

Now I have an offer to leave. I’m not laid off yet. Honestly I cannot handel the multiple round of layoffs stress anymore. The new compy is much more stable so far. what will happen to Vested RSUs on E-Trade intel account? Will those transfer automatically to my personal E-Trade account?

The E*Trade account remains yours with the RSUs that have vested.

@ gey+1mJIRyYu that’s not gonna happen any time soon. In 7 months intel need to figure out 10 B annual cost reductions. Empty words …

The etrade account is already titled in your name so you can leave the shares there. Alternately, you can open a new brokerage account anywhere you like and once the shares are vested, you can transfer them to your new account.

Quite easy.

You keep the vested RSU's. The remainder will go back to Intel.

Just be aware that by leaving before May of 2024, you'll miss out on the piddly gas money that Pat and the ELT promised the rest of us in lieu of raises, promotions, incentives, and 401K contributions over the next 3 years.....
