So I guess Lance just couldn;t fire people fast enough to keep the Board happy. He gave it his best shot. Well he had people do it for him, but you get the idea.
Get rid of engineers and conductors. Ems and ptc can run a train better than any human can. All the engineer does is push the alerter and all the conductor does is keep the engineer awake to push it.
Fire all humans and hope for the best.

With the creation of the utilityman, 75 nights away, UP got their Expediter. Utu sold themselves out. Ble-t selling out the conductor means peace and quiet in the cab for me. While their are are some very good conductors that are good at there jobs and take them seriously most don't. Sooner I get to retirement the happier I will be.
Smart getting rid of the brakeman. $2700 plus change. Why does the CEO need to do any thing? I'm hoping the BLE sells out the conductor. They have been worthless, ever sense ptc and the disappearance of the yellow boards. Now that smart says they can't even hit the alerter while I take a leek, they have no use. All they do is sleep or watch movies behind the cooler on the desk (that the camera can't see).
Big boy is scheduled to get moving again next month. So you all know what that means.
