You implemented tools to solve all your data problems.
There are 3 things that act on data – people, process, and technology. In that order. If all you do is implement a tool, you’ve solved a technology problem and ignored the people and process aspects of the data problems. technology is an accelerator. It can speed things up and make them more efficient, but there are still people and processes that need to act on that tool to make it successful for you. Something we’ve forgotten, or never lived by for the last ten+ years.
The only reason we’re seen as a technology leader is because we tell everyone we are. We would have won state had coach put us in!!
Remember, the job of a leader is to take negative energy and turn it into something productive, not make our work lives a struggle.
