It's an awful place to work and people are finally figuring it out. We have people from my team jumping ship. Some even returned to Cisco.

@2cec+1mHmIu6Y depends on which company. In a lot of these people have to actually deal with real engineering constraints - memory, latencies at millisecond granularity, cache-incoherency etc versus spinning/autogenerating a service from a framework

It really must be awful if they're leaving to go back into telecom, the worst industry for a SW engineer.
