This is one of the least transparent companies I have ever worked for. Was this place always like this? Instead of sharing the information with their employees, the company is letting its employees needlessly stress out while trying to make sense of different rumors they hear around the office.

I agree. 110 RN’s and 15 Administration and who knows how many more. This company is so not transparent. Calling meetings asap so that you just get let go. I hope compensation is given but knowing them…..probably not. Many were at the company for years giving it all. They say it was because people were not giving it their all- I call bull on that. I think they just have some favorites and get rid of who they don’t want to deal with any longer. Restructuring my a-s. Ever since the new people came in last year it’s been a cluster. They put on their smiles during a meeting and saying we’re finally getting everything together and they let people go like with no warning , no nothing , what a piece of sh-t. Just stab people in the back.. good luck people the next …end of a pay period……you will be next!
Manipulative tactics are employed to maintain control over you. Being kept uninformed grants them authority, forcing you to rely on their every instruction. They can hold you responsible without facing any consequences themselves.
Your role is simply to remain silent and show appreciation for still being employed. They reserve the right to dismiss you without warning if you fail to comply with their directives.
As stated to the Managers, if the pressure becomes too much for you or any member of your team, it might be wise to consider leaving. Clearly, this environment is not suitable for you.
They are a big machine. They (upper management), don’t give a sh!t about anyone but themselves and their stock options. Keep the stock price high, regardless of how many people are impacted with their sh!tty decision making! At the end of the day, we’ll host a fireside chat to thank you, the employees, for making us RICH!!

why to create fear, stress people around, media atetntion, to get questions from local and federal authorities when you can do it silently with the brilliant smile? Presumably no one will choose this company as the benefit provider for their future employment. This company selling to thier own employees overpriced benefits with bs boints to substract later on. 2x-3x compare to the cost of the different employers. After selling at 2x-3x do you expect any transparency?
Is it always like this? The question is more like why the sh@@tty leadership allowed this toxic culture? As the old saying goes - can’t take the spots out of the leopard. This leadership ( or the lack of) is liken to parents raising latch key kids… you are on your own until I have to kick you out of the house so social workers will not come and arrest us - the “parents” … in the meantime these so called “parents” sent the kids to walk the street to bring in more $$… even if it’s illegal and unethical yes it’s 🤢
