The wealth destruction is even worse when you factor inflation into the mix.
NVDA and AMD are looking especially shiny today!
INTC = meh.
@1ktc - All INTC's splits were prior to peak stock price in 2000.
The answer is if you invested in $10,000 in INTC on Aug 25, 2000 at $72.94, you would have turned it into around $4,000 in the present day. 23 years of wealth destruction. Conversely, if you invested $10,000 in NVDA on Aug 25, 2000 at $3.13, you would have turned it into $1,006,000 dollars.
Or 0.1 Lakh to 10 Lakh for all you Intel workers.
I sold a large batch of NVDA at $315. Bought at around $150 just 6 months ago. Thanks Jensen! Also sold a batch from 5 years ago when I sold all my INTC RSUs to buy NVDA. Thanks BK for the insider trading tip: when the CEO sells all his allowable stock in the company, you liquidate that sh*t.
If one accounts for all of INTC's stock splits....it is approx $400?
Ask the ELT to buy stocks with their own money. LOL.
Broken business model, IDM and IFS is a totally religious strategy
Fine, increase the sample size to the last 23 years. How much would you have made if you put 10000 in NVDA vs AMD vs INTC back in 2000? I'll give you a hint - only one would have lost you money.
You might need a sample size slightly bigger then n=1 to draw any conclusion... that is if you had any training in engineering or statistics.
Yes, all are moving toward fair value.
NVDA is currently worth 6x INTC, TSMC almost 4x, Samsung more than 2.5x
Trend will go into a pretty sharp reversal as soon as China invades Taiwan.
cool story bruh.
If I sold all of my Intel stock today I'd lose 10's of thousands of dollars. If I sold all of my Nvidia and AMD stock today I could buy a couple of pretty nice houses.
