It's so sad that people can only find out what actually is going on in the company from a platform like this.Townhalls are a joke with huge Amt of time of them having a segment leader speaking for too long, q+a never genuinely answered in majority of cases and HR a no show or on about some obsure project they have set themselves to look busy. Bottom line; the employees who are left are treated like peasants while the overlords of c-suite fill their pockets and jump into the few life rafts on this sinking ship.

"In exit teams meeting there were 149 attendees. In severance package, under OWN team, 5 selected and 5 none selected cross out."

Almost 200 in a parallel severance meeting. Layoffs have been happening for months and will continue.

CS was the worst possible option for ARRIS. As the ARRIS BoD Chair said in his final email to employees: "becoming a part of CommScope was not the vision I had in mind for the future of ARRIS." Both sad and uplifting, his message was heartfelt and heartwarming as he bade farewell to the ARRIS family.

CS and the Carlyle group are perfect examples of corporations operating in Gordon Gekko mode. Carlyle buys companies to break them up, sp-t them out, and create extreme wealth for a small subset of cold c-suite thieves (from their staff stable) through selloffs and tax write-offs.

Arris acquisition of Ruckus/Brocade Campus Networks was driven by Hubris (Ego) and never made financial sense at the acquisition cost.

CommScope acquisition of Arris to get Ruckus was sour grapes and made even less sense.

Now all of the worker bees (non C-Suite) are screwed while the company drowns in debt....

While you get no raises or bonuses, and concerned ab layoffs, rest assured the board and c-suite are going to take care of themselves. Board just cashed in and received 47k granted shares each, remember the grants are free. These are same people that thought Arris was a great acquisition (no offense Arris people but I’m sure you wish CS never came around either).
