In an LT meeting a VP mentioned that layoff wave is reaching EU in days and not weeks. And it will be announced all at the same time (France, UK, Germany, etc.) rather than country by country.
Anyone else got any hint of this?

There have been loads today in U.K. - but it’s important to understand that these will definitely not all result in layoffs.
It does seem that the communications have been sloppy though - the first email to U.K. was supposed to go to the whole of AWS U.K. and many people didn’t get it.
Many people feel completely in limbo right now.
a couple have appeared on the layoff slack channel today, not sure if this represents a big wave though
