Early June cuts to the TechCentre. Up to half the positions (50%) will be cut, rest absorbed by BUs. Then BUs restructured by Fall with up to 25% cuts.

I’m very excited about this innovative new stay at home layoff approach the leadership is trialing. The cost savings of executing with this approach are what is needed to remain competitive. It’s about optimizing the decollaboration. Integrity is about doing what you said you would do and they are following through on project Focus. The responsible thing to do is to eliminate employees employment via a phone call so they don’t have to make eye contact. Stay safe.
Any other areas being impacted by the layoffs?
When ppl say 50% land off. Joe many ppl you figure that is? A couple hundred or??
It’s official, tech centre employees to stay home and hear over the next two days if they have a position or not
It never seems like it at the time but layoffs are often one of the best things to happen to a person over time.
It’s so easy to stick with the familiar and continue eating sh!t for a paycheque, a layoff is an opportunity to start fresh.

Way too many people dragging their feet to/from work (or even better working remotely) and hoping they keep the job for years JUST so they can get SEVERANCE or eventually a pension!
If I'll ever get to the top, I'll end this!!
Lots of poor people out there having such a hard time keeping their low paid jobs, and here many well paid people are dragging themselves to work for SEVERANCE...

Some of the competent people that have been let go makes me question who is making these decisions and why?

This constant cycle is becoming very hard on my mental health and is unfortunately having an impact on my family life as much as I’m trying to not let it.
Wait a minute, tech center? We have a tech center and they are getting re-org?
How dare they ruin our pride month!
HR needs a big cut. Some of them are in Houston and company is paying extra for them and their families. Hire locally!!

So no more Tech Centre? Was wondering why they never hired back in the VP position. Some tech centre leadership saying this is the worst they have seen so far.
Is this for real? If so, definitely not a bad plan. Why do we have hundreds of people doing god knows what in the tech Centre. Majority charging to overhead. Massive waste of money..
