Thread regarding Ochsner Medical Center layoffs

We are all disgusted by Ochsners latest excuse to lay off many of their longest serving, most dedicated members of their team, Pete November you are lying when you say that nurses are not being laid off. Many of them have been there since they graduated nursing school and were your most dedicated employees:
It sickens me that you are keeping the multiple clinic and non medical administrators who we see doing NOTHING to contribute to the wellbeing of our staff and patients. You are having issues recruiting bedside nurses. Who would want to work for a facility who treats its nurses so dispassionately. You have continued to pay your loyal nurses poorly, while spending ridiculous amounts on agency staff. This is blatant ageism and s-xism. It is another indication of the disregard that both you and Warner have long been rumored to have for nurses in general.
Your true colors are on full display. I’m sure you will try and control poor publicity by making the staff sign a non disclosure form, and using your media contacts to control bad publicity. We are all sickened.
