Obsession with Retail

What's this obsession with retail IT folks from Kohl's, Amazon, Target, Best Buy ....and then getting rid of them in few years?

Before you think of changing my industry, learn it—— Instead, I know everything and fire you all and bring mediocre consultants.

Target and Best Buy both have headquarters in Minnesota where our mothership is. The leadership team prefers to meet in person so they can exchange new buzzwords, empty strategies and slick Powerpoint slides in person. The fact that OptumRx is a pharmacy and no, you cannot apply your Target Circle concepts to the prescription business, doesn't seem to matter to them.

The people from Target are F*cking clueless. Good luck getting IT support in the future at the company - those ex-Target mo--ns are barely smart enough to breathe let alone run IT support. It will get bad for those who remain. They'll find some scapegoats or leave before their scorched earth is blamed on them

Not only IT. Rx and Care is full of ex target, etc leaders who are experienced in shipping t shirts out the door, not a highly regulated medical and Rx industry Smh

Healthcare is a serious business it's not tiktok to sell candies!! In name of speed and innovation they hire but quickly learn the "fit" issue. Hopefully they learn their lesson soon. FinTech can be a good area for synergy.
