… when you say so very confidently that there will be no layoffs? I hope there won't be any, but I can't be so sure.

Sure I will take a swing at this. As always nothing is guaranteed but have worked at PGR for quite awhile. Back when times were leaner in the mid 2010s they went on a hiring freeze along with doing expense vigilance. Neither of those things have happened yet. Still tons of job postings and they are still paying for and planning large scale travel/events. Also PGR is growing crazily right now and we have acquired some companies that should only help us grow further. Integrating these companies into the main hub takes a lot of work. Lastly GS was designed to help prevent layoffs. It being low during hard times is it working as expected. Saves a ton of money on employees salaries.
