What's up with SAP, seriously? UK employees have been left in the dark since late January 2023, with no news on the supposed layoffs that have been looming. It's like we're all sitting here twiddling our thumbs, waiting for something to happen. And now, we hear that the company is finally going to make an announcement on May 10th. Really? We've been kept in suspense for this long?
The worst part is that nobody knows who's going to be affected. Is it going to be just a few people, or is it going to be a mass culling? We have families to support, bills to pay, and yet, we're being left in limbo. How are we supposed to plan our futures when we don't even know if we'll have a job next month?
It's not just frustrating, it's downright disrespectful. We've given our time, energy, and loyalty to this company, and this is how we're being treated? It's like we're just numbers on a spreadsheet, disposable and replaceable.
And let's not forget about the impact this is having on morale. How are we supposed to stay motivated and productive when we're constantly worried about our jobs? It's a toxic environment that's affecting everyone, even those who aren't directly impacted by the layoffs.
SAP needs to get its act together and start treating its employees with the respect they deserve. We're not just cogs in a machine, we're human beings with lives and families to support. The least the company can do is keep us informed and show some empathy. Until then, we'll just have to wait and see what May 10th brings.
