In a couple of weeks. Mostly culling the herd, getting rid of a few low performers. There will be a handful of decent performers who are unluckily in wrong place at wrong time. Feels like we’re finally getting back to the bad ol’ days pre-pandemic.

@11fim+1m7zp3AH - please tell us more 'stuff that didn't happen'....
@1hpet+1m7zp3AH - I don't know what 'letter' you're making up, but several women and minorities were, in fact, let go. Stop making sh!t up to satisfy your racist/misogynist world view...
@1hpet, that's bull. If you were holding a position significant enough to get those kind of letters, you would know that a bunch of lawyers are covering all legal aspects of every "re-org" making sure Juniper can't be sued for any kind of discrimination.
Got the letter showing who was considered for "re-org" and who wasn't . Guess what not one women, or minority was let go, and no one under the age of 60. All were white males 63 or older.... wokeness and I'll bet not one g-y was let go. Juniper needs a good lawsuit they are so transparent in their ageism and anti-white bias. Then again the top guys are non-white themselves woke woke.. old white guys have destroyed the world.
It was weird this week joining calls and the older senior males were gone and replaced with young non-men who are inexperienced. I feel badly for them as they are now under pressure to perform without regard for their readiness, and for the ones who where tossed aside like yesterday’s trash.
Got played off due to "reorganization" the new way to say your making too much and too old so you gotta go. Top performer on the team but didn't matter. No offer to move to another position just called up out of the blue and said your gone. Cut off my email, credit card and even expenses within two hours. Now they are yelling for me to pay the corporate card and I ve told them let me file my expenses and I will . Can't see what expense are in , what have cleared, can't even get a corporate card month statement as they had Citibank lock the account. Now HR is got a nice but junior rep answering questions but as usual at Juniper no one responds. They just ignore her and me and expect us to go a way quietly. The exit package is week. Three months base pay( I am in Sales) thats it and all those orders that I ve booked but they haven't been able to ship i get nothing on, even though state law demands them to pay on anything sold and booked. Lawsuit if they do this to too many. Would come back but not sure I d ki-l myself like I have been. Never been so poorly treated by a major firm upon being let go. All stated it was not performance so lived up to my side but they are treating me and others let go like we don't matter and just need to go and take what they deem to give. us. Very poor treatment.
Got laid off today due to "Reorg" while they just hired two new AEs that are junior to me, one in fact never has been a sales guy. So its all bullsh-t. THey use reorgs to bring in their friends and get rid of the older guys since they can't be let go for performance. Mixed emotions I enjoyed many of the people but never go the feeling management gave a damn about those on the line who weren't here at least 15 years or who were brought in my the new managers from their old companies. I grew my territory 200% in one year and got let go so performance doesn't matter at Juniper its politics and ageism.
Some teams already went through some trimmings. They are small, but of course that doesn't matter if -like you say- you're at the wrong place at the wrong time.... but that's corporate America, anywhere and anytime.
I heard from a senior person that the package to leave was quite generous. They were bitter about the politics that pushed them into that corner, but not about the exit package (and I honestly think it was the wrong decision, the one I knew the best was a fantastic -if opinionated- performer). If this rumor is true, and if things go down, I hope that trend stays.
what was typical package Juniper will give those being impacted?
