Why will Raghu be fired? He's the perfect 'yes' man who'll continue to say yes to everything MD and SL wants. Why did you think he was chosen over Poonen? And why did Pat leave? They would both think for themselves and make individual decisions. Not easy to push your agenda with those two.
If the deal falls through a Michael Dell and his cohorts will be looking for a fall guy. Guess what, Raghu will be fired and kicked out the door within weeks. VMW stock will be in the cr-pper and to stop the losses a massive layoff will follow along with some asset sales. The remaining bits of VMware shall end up back on the action block. Mr Dell really doesn’t like software and will do whatever it takes to dump this company.
