New return policy

Whose brilliant idea was it to change return policy to 30 days ? 60 is more reasonable especially buying online and the item takes a few days to arrive.

My question is. I bought something online 3/12 online. Girl at store says I can’t return to store bc it’s 30 days if I want to return in store. However on my app I go to “return items “ and it says I have until 6/16 to return.

How is this legit from a customer service perspective and operations perspective ? Lol.

Great strategy to ensure that we don't make PTG bonus this year. Between sales plans that we can't make and a return policy that is sure to upset our customers and result in low NPS scores, the company figured out how to save on PTG bonus payouts. As it is, we already have to figure out how to take care of the customers bringing back returns over 90 days. I have seen my managers process returns without receipt (even when they have a receipt) and give out a ton of Customer Accommodation coupons to try an make them happy as it is, but colleagues can't do it and managers aren't always available. Should be just one more thing that makes an already hard job even harder when it goes into full effect.

Why even have a return policy when it isn’t enforced? At my store when it is past the time period, we either do it or call a manager and then they will do it. Wish we didn’t have override.

She was wrong---the 30 day isn't enforced yet.

They have a grace/warning period. I don't think it comes into full effect no exceptions until May 1st
