Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

401k lawsuit

Is there any chance of getting a lawsuit filed regarding the non matching of the 2022 401k contributions. Isn’t that like a legal obligation that the company had agreed to?
The full timers who contributed and bought into this company are getting nothing while the “c” suites will walk away with their money and then some.
BBB was always a greedy bunch of people but in late they have stooped to a new low beyond low. I feel bad for everyone who is still working there.
Get out now while you still have your pride. I’m glad I did. I hope they crash and burn. Karma is a bi--h .
They still need to investigate where 16 billion went in 4 years. Something is still fishy MT, GM , ST that Party City crew cleaned up and cashed out.

Although it is a slimy move on their part it is not illegal. Same way they laid off so many workers before a law in NJ went into effect that would have made them pay all the severance. BBB is inhabited by greedy, soulless people at the top level and it shows with how they treat their associates, whom ironically most of which still back this company and cheer them on.

Unfortunately nothing you can do, companies have the right to do this. It actually happens more than you think especially with cash strapped companies.
