I have good memories of Macy's, but it has been nearly a decade since I worked there. I reapplied recently due to an issue at my current job but it occurred to me to check how things are currently. Posts here do not sound encouraging and it's making me rethink rejoining.

Macys is just a shell of what it used to be.. the merchandise is trash.. the leaders are useless and they all want to just run you into the ground till you quit... i would venture into something else other than retail right now..
Macys has really gone downhill and it’s mostly due to bad management from top to bottom. I would not bother coming back if I were you.
Don't waste your time . They give you a schedule and claim they can change it every 12 hours. They do change it without the courtesy of calling or texting. If you are late its recorded even if they changed your schedule the last minute. They don't do any background checks so they hire a bunch of felons. Bible.
