Why all the silence these days? They say no news is good news, so maybe this company is sticking around for quite some time more.

Ya, the closings were coming consistently over the last few Years but have pretty much stopped to nothing now. We only (I think?) dropped 2 Kmarts last Year (Hato Rey and Avenel). And the Sears closings (other than Hometowns which sort of happened all at once), have also been slowing to a drip.
It seems to me, (in some perverse way), he wants to keep most of these remaining stores open, even they are located like someone blindfolded, threw darts at a map. I mean, the 3 stateside Kmarts are in Bridgehampton, which is over 100 miles from West Wood, and both are over 1000 miles from Miami. And Guam is several 1000's of miles from any of the others. It's all so random.
But I don't think we're getting any more this Year. Why would he have gone through all that trouble of downsizing Miami if they're going to close it? I would imagine it is staying open for a while, anyway.
They finally right-sized their store footprint. The transformation is near complete.
