Directors and above have different incentive plans than the people that do the actual work. They get rewarded big even if morale is low, revenue is down, and lack of customers.
This group is just as arrogant and dismissive of all that tried to help as any before. They are just more polished, smoother, and calculated. Don´t fall for it. They are soliciting to expose people that think differently to add to their layoff list. Just look at their track record, ask around and decide for yourself.
The latest plea for everyone to make things happen is everything that is wrong with them and the company. After shunning and laying off everyone with experience, knowledge, and doers, they are left with their own incompetent new hires and so are getting desperate as the product is falling apart, no new customers, no trust or respect, political environment, and everyone for themselves. It sounds passionate, optimistic, righteous, trustworthy, to appeal to everyone to help but in reality common passive aggressive tactics to win trust and appeal to get results for themselves. Don´t fall for it. You will be exposed and burned.
The message is clear... they are saying ...stop spewing all what´s wrong with this place ...if you don´t do what we want, get out. If you stay, do something to make us rich.
No worries Teradata management, everyone will be leaving so that you will have what´s remain, own all of it in your image, all the problems will be exposed and when the ship sink, everyone will remember those that drove it to the ground. It is a badge of honor to be out of this place with dignity intact.
