Layoffs still quietly happening.
No way IPO in this market. Predict company is sold for parts.
Confirmed. Former colleagues of mine were laid off from BMC last week. The uncertainty in April is an annual event at BMC Software. You never know if you're role is on the hitlist that is being eliminated. It does not matter how well you are performing within your role, or the number of employee performance awards you have received.
What groups were impacted globally? Layoffs are always awful. I wonder if it is in prep for IPO and also because the company did not meet annual revenue goals?
