Got my mental health re-diagnosed a week before being laid off. Was going to talk to HR, then I got the call.
They don't give a sh-t about your mental health, they will just replace you with someone else.
Maybe we should check on the mental health of our colleagues that were laid off April 6th? Might be better than your virtue signaling suggestion.
They don’t have to pay you severance If there is a performance issue.

Optum has the power, you are just a nobody that gets paid weekly. There is no Union, so standing together will be at the unemployment line. Good idea, but should have thought about the consequences. If you want to protest, then do it a year after you no longer work for Optum and have nothing to lose. Recession is coming and people need their severance pay check. Sorry, just being honest. People are more worried about finding another job and feeding the family as their top priority.
