People who really care about this company's perspective:
- Yes, this company is broken beyond repair. Time to abandon ship and start over.
- Trust in product quality and broken internal processes and systems are least of our problem. Strategy, management, and everything in this company has been dismantled and no way to put it back again.
- There is no senior leadership here. Just a bunch of B rated management in training. They are experimenting on us, collecting big paychecks and bonuses, while laying off people that do the real work. Everyone knows the glory days are gone. No one trust or respect any director or above because they´ve shown their true colors many times in their own interest.
- These posts are from people who built and cared about this company more than any current ELT or board members.
- With that said… The thumbs up/down responses to certain posts indicate that many people on this forum are realistic and not seeing the world through rose colored glasses. To make this place successful, we need directors, ELT, and above to resign. Everyone should thumbs up or down as they pleased to reflect how they really feel. And we welcome all posts even if it´s written by an ELT member or HR or close to it pleading for everyone to work hard so ELT can get their bonuses. We reserve the right to respond to it with thumbs up or down ... live with it.
— ALL directors and up are complicit in ruin this company with no shame. If they were good, they would resign, otherwise they become the same incompentent people that run this place.
— There are definitely some newer people in director and up positions who are naive, inexperienced, thinking they can save a sinking ship, and are working very hard on fake work to enrich themselves and serve their benefactors the ELT.
— We care about this company and its people and recognize it is irreparable, so we are doing our part to warn everyone that this companz is the Kodak or Blockbuster of databases and to abandon ship before they are laid off.
— We are already a disaster despite 8 years of transformation, 3 management team changes, countless layoffs, behind the industry, no cloud product, declining revenues, and no customers… we will use all of our skills somewhere else and not waste it here to enrich the ELT doing fake work in their self interest.
— We truly think there is absolutely no hope and all of us are moving on, leaving this place to all the bad decision makers. Some of us have made major contributions, have nothing more to prove or need to move on, and so will stay and work like the ELT to attend woke trainings and fake work and collect paychecks and bonuses that´s overdued.
Summary: We know the problems and have brought it up to Teradata management but all fell on arrogant deaf ears... so they end up here on this board to help our fellow coworkers know the truth so they can decide what to do. We do believe this place is toast and only someone delusional with self serving interest would think they can turn this place around the way it is and pleading to others to step it up when there´s no hope. We need all directors and above to resign. No worries, all hands on deck that are experts and doers are leaving ... the business, ELT will be exposed for who thez are. We represent many areas of expertise and it´s clear the end is near. If you are in your earning years, time to move on regardless if you´re good or not. If you must stay, no problem, get all you can like the ELT before you´re laid off.
