I can't believe how frustrating it is to see talented people come and go at Teradata! No high performer sticks around for long. And who could blame them? This place is toxic and outdated. It's a has-been, plain and simple.
The lack of vision and leadership here is astounding. It's no wonder why people are leaving in droves.

all Teradata longtimers directors and above have been bought and true, instead of speaking up and standing up, they´ve folded ... look around, no real Teradata DNA in leadership technically or otherwise
the last technical leader went part time last year and will soon exit after seeing calamity unfolding ... others will follow
It's also tough when you've been here for a while and see jerk employees receive promotions by adding "COE" to their title, when they should've been given the axe a long time ago based on internal complaints alone.
The talent have no reason to stay when they see that, as a rule, the least capable are celebrated and promoted. Look around and you'll see that many of the higher level Teradata longtimers are still there because they're not wanted anywhere else.
