Thread regarding Entergy Corp. layoffs

Corporate staffing "adjustments"

After surviving the debacles of the VSP in 2003 (where they lost too many employees) and HRM in 2010 (where they essentially made certain employees find another job), I finally retired in 2021. Although I could have taken a job in Jackson, MS, I chose not to. I am so glad that I wasn't in the position of having to consider that option. A lot of people pulled up stakes and moved south because they were promised a job. Probably not at all like the jobs they left. I hope for their sake that Entergy doesn't spin another creative downsizing.

I keep hearing the overstuff in our senior leadership (Entergy Nuclear) is known and there is pressure to fix it. We are like a toddler with a fat head when compared to how we were staffed with 4 southern plants only.

Massive Downsizing is required to achieve Path to Premiere expectations for Wall St.

50% of the VP/Directors could go and wouldn’t be missed.
