I too care about our teams and we all need to remember boundaries: our employer is our employer, not our spouse or parent. Our employer will not and cannot provide loyalty. That’s why work is “at will”, we can be RIFed at a moments notice, something different than the way family treats us hopefully in a good family. Work is work and ain’t your family. Don’t forget that else you put yourselves and your families in peril.
