Is anyone else having trouble with the customers being totally ridiculous about the company.
They are beyond rude and are gloating about the fate of the company.
I just had a customer yell at me for 5 minutes about her order then say I know it’s not your fault but this is why you are going out of business.
The C suite clowns are playing Russia roulette right now and the people who work in the stores with these crazy a-s customers who “know how to run a business “are feeling the brunt of the situation. At this point just make a decision to file, we all know that it is inevitable. They had a great run and some people made a lot of money but they are now done. I was always a believer and was loyal to a T but the people who are making these decisions really don’t care. They have a signed contract just like MT so they get their money no matter what.

YOU are an a*hole. Don't get me wrong, customers are too, but so are you.
The stare tactic is known as the middle class stare in teaching. Works 75% of the time.
my favorite was always the customers that would be complete a--holes and then assure you "they work/worked in retail, they know how things go"; nooo, if you really DID, you'd know how much of an a--hole you're being
In teaching circles, that blank gaze to them is known as the "middle class stare". We used to be totally quiet and then the class realized it was making too much noise. Worked about 75% of the time unless they were pushing the envelope.
At least back in the day at Bloodbath, we could use empathy. "I know, that should not have happened", etc. Typical of C suite to open you up to this behavior but the reason many people left even before the plane starting diving was that C suite always made life difficult with poor choices.
Hence, why not just file BK and be done with it?
Fresh start or liquidation.
Why would you allow a customer to yell at you for 5 min? I give them 1 min max! Then I either hang up or walk away!
Sometimes I just don't respond to them at all, I just stare at them, that seems to get under their skin. If they say "the shelves are so empty" no response needed, it wasn't a question, just a d-mb statement. And the marketplace customers are always hostile about not being able to return the junk they bought, they are the absolute worst.
Slow death... Amazon, Walmart and Target have all the same products for less $

Knowing what you know. Why are you even still working for this place. Why are you waiting for a company to fail and file for bankruptcy. You do realize you are a grown adult not force to work for a company that doesn’t support you. The company is done. Why are you bothering to stay?
