Coming over from Change and was wondering what it is like working for Optum as a remote employee who travels up to 90% of the time for pre-sales activities? Is there a cell phone/home internet stipend? How is Optum's travel agency, expense policies etc. Any info would be appreciated.

Don't worry about it, you'll be laid off in April.
Everyone in the comments are negative. You get a wifi router from Optum, but if you decline, you don’t get a stipend for wifi. You get a phone & laptop and potentially a remote monitor or iPad. You can expense almost everything from leaving your house to getting back. I have never had an issue expensing items- just save your receipts so you can upload them. The expense process usually takes 1-3 weeks.

I love working here too. I also understand that having a good attitude at work and not seeing everything so negatively. I have worked here for 14 years and the company has been good to me. Its all in perspective.

Everything @ change is better than at Optum. Same for those who came over from Navihealth and Riverside. Talk about shock. Good luck!
This is question for your boss, not in a layoff forum
Why ask this in a layoff forum??
