Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Heads-Up - I see the AIP bonus coming March 10th, 2023

To all former co-workers affected from Nov/Jan layoffs. I just noticed the AIP bonus coming through my bank's direct deposit tomorrow (March 10th, 2023)

Just like a kick-starter, every bit helps!

If you live in California and getting EDD benefits, I know this will need to be reported in the section of the benefit certification site that allows one to select whether the extra income came from WARN, severance, etc.

I hope all of you find fortune and happiness in 2023. There are a lot of jobs out there and I wish you well!

"I didn’t get full (96%) payment. No performance discussion or any other explanation was given. Does anyone know what is going on?"

It speaks volume to current management if they don't or can't explain to you why not. Maybe your management promoted their favorite and need your share to fund it. Watch yourself.

Good to know layoffs in November still got their bonus. Are any of you who are receiving it below the director level?

I was laid off in January 22 and was told that I would be eligible for a partial payout. Not seeing anything Jen my accounts yet and I’m not hopeful.

Some still here and some laid off recently reported 5 to 10% "manager's cut". This unethical practice is common with the VP and SPV to reward their friends, worshippers, and brown noses.

They would unilaterally decide who to give them to and often do not go discuss with all below them to ensure transparency of whether the recipients were worthy.

Lately, they've taken the cut to subsidize and promote those fall under DEI whether they earned it or not while there are still many underpaid. Just look around who all got promoted to directors, VP, and SVP and observe for yourself if they did anything to warrant promotion and a piece of your AIP.

However, if you speak up, you know what happens.

Why are you shocked? Unless you had a bad review, you earned your AIP. The thing is whether they screwed you out of your fair share.

I've got to say I'm kind of shocked - I was laid off in November and am also getting AIP payment. Nice.

AIP payment received. If funding was at 96%... I got full payment, no "manager's cut" noticed.
