When they ask you why you don’t hire more PT during peak holiday season as demand increase for ONE week.
Average weekly demand is off by 100 hours from holiday week. What would you do? No OT…

They are not only struggling on the store aspect. They also have major cracks in the foundation of their PBM department. Large shake ups are happening company wide. There are a lot of expendable middle manager positions throughout the entire corporation. The extra middle managers and lack of inter-department communication make for a very bureaucratic process by design. Some of this bureaucracy is costing them lots of money and they’re catching onto these nothingness positions.

Yeah that sounds about right for CVS. Not surprised at all. In fact I willing to bet we're going to see much more than just 900 stores close.

Think about it for a moment. Corporate claims there's a shortage of pharmacists. There's no shortage of pharmacists, there's a shortage of people willing to work for CVS. So instead of actually changing their evil ways, they double down on their skeletal business model and simply shorten RX operating hours, to compensate. Ultimately this will lead to additional stores closing. Why? Because with reduced HOO employees end up with reduced hours and reduced pay. Can't survive on 20 hours a week? Corporate doesn't care about that. And since people can't survive on so little hours, they'll look for work elsewhere.

As more and more people leave (including FS) this will lead to additional stores closing.

Agreed that CVS leadership still sees some room to make cuts, but we are close to the point of minimum store staffing even by CVS's standards. What percentage will be cut?
