I know contractors and PH were cut. What other sectors or business segments are going to be impacted and when?

I would expect the bulk of the cuts to be in the money losing operations, such as Disney+. I also don't see how firing low paid theme park cast members will make much of a difference to the bottom line. The parks and resorts are keeping the company afloat, this is the wrong time to worsen the guest experience.
Sure, the parks are packed now, but if guests go home saying to themselves "wow, that was expensive and not as good as I remember" will they come back?
Yes it is…
They care more about their shareholders than their employees
do you think the point of a business is to employ people or generate revenue? I don't understand how people are still this naive and unprepared for the real world.
Disney is showing their true colors. They care more about their shareholders than their employees.
It's a small world after all.
It’s horrendous that a CEO can announce 7,000 layoffs to Wall Street over a month ago and nothing else “official” has been communicated to employees. We get it….you don’t give a cr-p about how anxious and uncertain employees are feeling. Shareholders should be very concerned that human resources are being wasted while employees exist in this limbo.
