Watch out for LinkedIn offers because many of them can turn out to be scams. Don't ever pay anything upfront and be wary of any job that seems too good to be true. Unfortunately, there are a lot of predators out there taking advantage of people who are desperate for work, especially during these tough times.

Same w Indeed. My advice: Do not leave your resume public on Indeed. Apply to the job, link the Indeed CV, apply - this turns your Indeed CV public. Turn it private right away. Otherwise, there are professional 'job placement agencies' scanning on Indeed whose only job is to prevent you from applying to companies directly by making you agree to have them represent you w job offers by dangling pay rates way above normal. They ask for your SSN and age and ask you to sign / agree to something. Beware
