Except Boeing doesn’t keep the best and the brightest. They keep the bootlickers, which is a big part of the reason the companies in the shape it’s in. The best and brightest won’t stick around at Boeing when they get a taste of what the company stands for.

What does a rotator/tr---y do at Boeing?
Yes we are “Overhiring” in various areas of the company.
Reason:
It’s the most efficient way to bring people on-board.
Rather than hire one at a time to see if they work out,
we will bring in a group and keep the best and brightest.
Discharging the unfit, the unteachable and the undesirable’s.
We have found this to be the best way to develop a workforce quickly.
However we do not always get it 100% right.
Sometimes the unteachable and undesirable’s types make it through the process,
resulting in costly debacles and shear lսnacy, as you cannot fix stսpid.
One prime example of such buffoonery was the creation of this very thread.
