FB BOD should hold leaders accountable for disaster. Time for new leaders. I mean come on, Metaverse? People are going to sit around all day in VR headset? You have to realize when an idea is really d-mb. The real mistake was not to recognize that short video company would be the next hot thing. Nobody cares anymore about seeing pictures of you shopping for groceries. Now it's ridiculous videos of challenges. Bit FB missed the change big time. When your product is eyeballs on screens you need to keep eyeballs on screens. Probably spent too much time being woke than running the biz. TT snuck right up on MZ and ate his lunch.

You probably don't realize (or in denial about) the fact that board members are all friends. They don't give a rat's a-s about the company and vision unless it hurts their money. They are not the watchguards of the company as you seem to imply.
In order to hold someone accountable for failing to imagine the future, you first must HAVE a vision of the future. Board members are just there to collect their stipends ... oh and occasionally vote on stuff.
