This company and product has always been led by bright and talented engineers to address the needs of the customers. Product management and all other contributors were the supporting cast. They know good ideas and technology is paramount to the success of the product and company and it was important to have strong engineering leadership. This was lost when OR the PS guy threw out all of our engineering talents and know how, follow by RP the UI expert hiring id**ts into the ranks, and now HA the glorified PM hiring even more mediocre activist VPs to navigate the engineering ship. So much was spent to look good instead of delivering the goods. No one trust anyone in this politically charged environment. No wonder there are problems everywhere in the company. Just look around, observe, and decide for yourself.

OR and several others at one point wanted to replace the database with something else. They consider the database to be a thorn on their sides and have taken steps to cap and ki-l it off but the cash cow of existing customers delayed that until recently. All this management team is trying to do is run a SaaS. They don't know the crown jewels and can careless what database is running as long as they can run the share price up so they can cash out. In the meantime, they are content with playing house and training themselves for the next gig.
Yes, definitely too late. SB is not an employee and have no control over the organization and its everyday operation. He should resign for his dismissal of the cloud. Otherwise, it takes a team of good talented engineers to deliver a good product. The company's ineptitude and arrogance got rid and chased them all away. DS is trying to rebuild with slick talking and learning on the job but he's got no clue. They are so desperate that they are bringing back and paying dearly for anyone that is willing to come back but no one or two people will make a difference in the long run because of the toxic culture and underlying management. HA just needs to get out of the way. No business or qualification to run an engineering team.
This company has lacked a true technical visionary since Phil Neeches. It has mainly been run by technically inept salesmen who were easily snowed. Even OR was weak technically even though he talked a good game. SB should have been a technical leader but he fought the industry changes like cloud. HA is so weak it is embarrassing. Too late now.
They are not compensated based on product performance or sales. That is why they manipulate data to control the stock price.
HA is so incompetent. Why is that running an engineering team instead of something else out of the way? DS is just as bad in a different way. Together they torpedo our future while making tons of dough. They all bow down to KCC and her agendas. How can someone pull in $12 mil when spewing all the DEI stuff and the company having a toxic culture? Just look at all the VPs and Sh**VPs, do they really do anything that is meaningful? Me say lose them all and we won't miss a beat.
