For insurance nurses - are you exempt or non exempt? If non exempt do you have the ability to work different shifts or is it just 8-430 and taking a day off through the week? (CVS requires UM role to work weekends) CVS just announced we are moving from exempt to non exempt. Supposed lawsuit against CVS prompted this change. Aetna was great but since CVS took over it’s all about retail. They make huge record profits last year and it seems like they are taking more and more away.

This is funny since the ceo is from aetna and has literally hand picked the entire c suite with her people. Aetna took over cvs despite who bought who.
Are pharmacists exempt or non exempt from overtime
I meant they are retail minded. Aetna, at least in my opinion, really took care of their employees. Of course they cared about the bottom dollar but they also shared their profits with the employees. Since CVS bought Aetna we have seen several of our benefits taken away- flexibility in schedules, making us work more weekends and evening shifts. Cutting pay for extra time worked (making us take off a day during week) I agree- where is their money going ? It’s certainly not being shared with us.
It's interesting you write that it seems all about retail. I work retail and would disagree. We are getting hours cut left and right - we've lost any pharmacist overlap we had - operating hours for pharmacies are being cut. Everyone seems to think everyone else is benefiting from the increased profits....where are they really going?
