I left Emerson in 2021. I've seen some news on culture and business transformation. Is it getting better recently?

Worst than it used to be. Your voice is silenced. Layoffs have become a norm.
Don’t talk to them, treat them as the traitors they are, even though they left for better pay, title and companies.
All I can say is to judge a company by how they treat people who leave. I used this as a strong criteria when I moved away from EMR. The culture becomes really clear and reflects very poorly on EMR.
@kyye+1lsek9Jo suffered the same as you and got the same rewards when I left.
I left the clown car and immediately tripled my salary. I am not kidding. The good ole boys kept me down for a long time and almost had me convinced that I was just lucky to have a job, but something inside told me these guys waz smokin the good stuff. It's a cult. The leadership is just a frat-boy click. They like to pretend they are engineers but nothing could be farther from the truth. If you have actual skills they will see you as a threat, just leave and let them ride the oil wave as far as they can because if they didn't have that they would be selling aluminum siding.
I will leave end of March after 30+ years - without any regret after the developments during the last years.
Culture ... they should sweep their own stairs before telling others to do it.
I also left the company in 2021. Every week I noticed that somebody from Emerson has viewed my profile on LinkedIn. My thoughts are evenly divided between wondering if they want to talk to me about hiring me back, or are looking for a life boat to get out of that place.
Seen that we have 80 open jobs here.
No - be glad you left and don’t look back as someone else stated. Culture is worse now than at any point in my nearly dozen year tenure. Take your pay raise (assuming you got one by leaving) and don’t regret leaving a company that froze salaries, then handed out raises that were sub-50% of inflation for two years while expecting everything to be hunky-dory.
Another employee survey just happened. Results expected in 4-6 weeks or so.
I also left. From what I hear from people who still work there and I talk to every week, no. Things are still a mess. Lot of new people who haven’t figured out the mess they walked themselves into. But hey, at least they get free lunches.
My advice to you is to not look back. If you ever need a career change go somewhere new.
