I think If Kmart and Sears focus on small town USA and ignore towns with Wal-Mart it will yield big results. If they Compete with Doller General, Ace Hardwear, and Advanced Auto Parts, they will be victorious because they will sell the merchandice for cheaper that those stores.

They could call them Sears Hometowns! Naww, that's been done.
Small towns already have that. While Kmart was asleep at the wheel Dollar General, Family Dollar and Dollar Tree built thousands upon thousands of stores in Kmarts backyard.
Great idea! Try a smaller format store where you have a limited assortment of merchandise in small towns! Maybe each store could have a catalog or even a couple of Internet Kiosk type computers that customers order stuff from and have it delivered. Oh wait…..

Looks like the looney bin let out early TODAY. Dollar, not Doller, Hardware, not Hardwear, and THAN those stores not THAT those stores. Go back and finish 9th grade, then we'll Talk, OK? And no, Sears and Kmart won't be successful anywhere in the US. They can stick to places like Guam, USVI, which are American territories, as they don't have Wallys and Targies there.
