Memory-chip Maker Micron Ups Layoffs to 15% of Workforce -- Market Talk
Dow Jones Newswires March 02, 2023 09:42:00 AM ET
0942 ET - Memory-chip giant Micron said it would reduce its headcount by 15% this year, accelerating a layoff plan to adapt to a fall-off in demand for computers and other electronics its products go into. The company had earlier said it would reduce its workforce by 10%. Micron is also planning to write down inventory in its latest fiscal quarter and is reducing chip production amid a weaker market, although the company sees elevated inventory levels improving through this year, executives said in an analyst call. Shares fall 2.6%. ( asa.fitch@wsj.com )

It’s already 15% even more
Will rating 1,2 be used to count towards 5% natural attrition?
40 % and done
It was 10 percent and now it's 15 percent (including 5 percent natural attrition). Don't release rumor
Perhaps I’m unaware, but wasn’t it just 10% to 15% (including 5% of natural attrition)?
