Market strategy: SAMSUNG vs Hynix vs Micron

Let's think about who manages the company.
Who makes market strategy, and who has the biggest responsibility of this failed management.
With american government support, Micron is just sh-t under sanjay management and his top management co-workers.

  • Capacity reduction: 20% capacity reduction
  • Bonus: 1 month annual salary (2022) -> 0% (2023)
  • Headcount reduction: 15% reduction

Don't forget all the projects we are closing while they are continuing. They will take a huge lead in front of us.
I won't be surprised if in 5 years Amazon or Nvidia will buy Micron for cheap.

This is the first major layoff after covid in boise.
It would be interesting to see how Micron is going to staff itself here. With so many remote opportunities elsewhere, Micron will have to put together a very attractive package to have people come to Boise.
And Boise is no longer a cheap place.
Texas and Florida cost of living come lower already.
