More than 200 people laid off so far. This was a cr---y, cr---y way to have layoffs. No indication in advance that something might be coming. No scheduled meeting to do this face-to-face. Just a surprise Zoom call and that's it. A cowardly way to get rid of loyal employees, but that's EA's usual modus operandi.
