About 400 employees have been laid off at television-shopping companies QVC Inc. and Home Shopping Network, the organizations’ parent company announced Tuesday.

I don't know what they could be thinking, but Shannon Fox was one of my favorites. What group of people are they thinking will be buying from them to get rid of good hosts we like? Maybe Shannon was too smart for them and was not on board with all the strange things they've been doing lately. She IS extremely intelligent (which I could tell right away) and one big reason I liked her. Well, if you read this Shannon Fox, you must deserve better and you were/are appreciated.
It is sad and disgusting how these corporations lay off workers over age 60, with a minimal severance package, and a COBRA "suppliment" equal to their package weeks. These are workers that gave blood, sweat and tears for years for the company. Just a number.. The stock is getting trashed today, good! Maybe they should RIF that CEO that was hired to turn things around.
