Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

UPRR Vena take top leadership spot. Valid reason for wildcat strike. Safety takes bottom rung ,share holder gain take top rung.

Union leadership at North Platte and West Colton are in communication daily in regards to starting the strike if Vena were to be named the new #1.

How UP can pride themselves on diversity yet bring back Vena? Google Solomon Perry Vs. Illinois Central Railroad and read through the documents.

Once class one railroads make cuts and it still operates you can be damn SURE, no matter WHO is CEO, those cut jobs will NEVER come back. They are always figuring ways out how to eliminate manpower, be it through technology, or contractors. This is the new normal. Folks just ride it out and get your 30 years in. CEOs job is to make profits through any means. Good luck to everyone. Gonna be a bumpy ride!

IF Vena does come back to the UP, I foresee a lot of departures happening in a very short amount of time. These departures will almost certainly be voluntary. The men and women of the UP went through that man's BS, and I really don't think they're willing to put up with him again. I'm sure a lot of people are happy to see Fritz go, but no one wants to see Vena return.
