Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

Peace Out B******

Just accepted a position outside of Boeing. Got an email Friday asking when I can start. All contingencies cleared.

Just wrote my resignation letter, signed it and will give it to my manager Monday.

I will think about you all, but not too hard, anyone who stays gets what they deserve.

Yes! It looks like Ridley Boeing is doomed. V22 done in 2025. CH47 is 60 years old and has serious manufacturing supply issues. Laid off 96 in December 2022 and just cut 50 more union workers in February 2023. Better sharpen your resumes.

You’ve done so well why even look back? I call BS.

After 7yrs, I left a few months ago myself and got a 25% raise in the process. I didn't realize how dysfunctional Boeing was until I started my new job. The new place isn't perfect, but it's waaaaaay less chaotic than all the fire drills I dealt with almost daily at Boeing.

Not BK...20% raise and actual respect.

I'm sorry you don't have the skills to get a better job, maybe youtube?

I Watched a lot of people leave over the years, and none of them ever came back. That alone should tell you you’re making the right decision.
