Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Total Customers and New Customers?

Why is Teradata not transparent on these metrics? Snowflake reports this every quarter. From their last earnings announcement - 7,292 total customers, 287 customers with trailing 12-month product revenue greater than $1 million. Simple math and we know that Teradata has the data. As an investor, this is concerning. You have the data, why are you not reporting it? And why are most of the financial analysts that follow this company so tepid on this important topic? Maybe they want to prop up the valuation by not exposing this apparent issue?

Only six new customers globally? Wow - when will the analysts wake up and end this "cloud ARR growth" nonsense and get to the strategic issue? No new customers tells you everything you need to know

ELT need to do the honorable thing, step down, and admit they're not right for the job and move on.

Teradata won six new customers in 2022. Ten years ago they were winning over 100 each year. No wonder they will not disclose this.

Still crickets…..where is our smart CSO when we need him? SM says our strategy is working. Maybe our strategy is not to win any more new customers? And not to grow total revenue.

Teradata needs a functioning EDW to figure that one out.
