If you haven’t noticed, companies discourage you from calling their stores they want you to either come in or shop with online.
I don’t know but the extensions need to be fixed. I field calls for the home department all day yet I work in cosmetics.
I definitely agree with the 2 posters who asked for the previous Technicians to be brought back. One of the worst decisions was to downsize the MTech Field team. No disrespect to the NCR team especially the former MTech people who joined them that I remember but it’s not the same. The process has changed and it’s not the level of service as before. Our NCR Tech is decent and is limited by their Management so he can help us but not like before.
Can we hire the Techs back?
We need them! 😣
The on-site Techs that were layed off several years ago maintained integrity in your phone system(switch). When Each department has an extension exclusive to that department. When a department or wrap stand is relocated or department floor moves, the Tech would software change the pad to the new location. It looks like this possibly is the issue. I do not know who handles phone software changes for you now. Check with the OPS person in your store. This can be resolved.
Your phones work? The department wrap stands have moved so much, nobody remember which extension is for which dept. Plus if a call actually makes it thru, the associate at wrapstand usually so busy with in-store customers they don't have time or even bother to answer calls.
Do you have the newer Cisco IP Phones or the very old ROLM phones? The extensions and call plan are different with the Cisco phones your Management should have posted a sheet with the new extensions.
When I call customer service the prompts are messed up......whats going on????
My department has no phone we have to walk over to fragrance.
